The Power Pack Program (P3) allows us to provide food insecure elementary and middle school aged students with a pack of food they can bring home and eat over the weekend. Many students in our area have little to eat between their lunch at school on Friday and the breakfast that is served Monday morning. The pack, which contains 2 items each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus 2 snacks and 2 drinks, will help alleviate the students hunger and allow them to focus more on their school work.

All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. NO EXCEPTIONS! Safety regulations require us to send you home if you do not have the correct footwear. Safety regulations also do not allow cell phones or ear buds while working in the warehouse. Please dress to be comfortable and according to the weather. The loading dock doors are always open to the elements.
Please email p3@foodforothers.org if you have to cancel on the same day of your shift. If you are canceling a shift more than 1 day prior to your commitment, please update your schedule at this link https://foodforothers.volunteermatters.org/project-catalog/22. We rely heavily on the hard work of volunteers and we cannot accomplish all we do without you. If you schedule a volunteer shift and DO NOT show up, Food for Others is not able to effectively serve the community to the best of our ability. With this in mind, we also understand unexpected circumstances can cause you to cancel, so it is important to our operations that you give us as much notice as possible. A no-show may endanger future shifts.
